Frequently asked questions
Is there a free tier?
Every new account gets 50 free credits — enough to integrate and send real mail before paying anything. Password signups receive them when the email is verified; Google and GitHub signups receive them immediately.
Do credits expire?
No. Buy a pack once and use it whenever — next week or next year.
Can I use any SMTP provider?
Yes. Gmail, Outlook, Mailgun, SendGrid, Amazon SES, or your own server — we relay your emails through the provider you connect, so delivery keeps your domain and reputation.
How are credits counted?
One credit per recipient. An email to 3 people (1 TO + 1 CC + 1 BCC) uses 3 credits.
Why are there sending limits?
Sending too fast is how SMTP accounts end up on blocklists. The per-key limit (50/minute) keeps your sending steady and deliverable. Your provider's own daily caps apply on top — Gmail, for example, has its own limits.
What about attachments?
Not supported yet — 2SMTP focuses on transactional email. Tell us if you need them.
Do you offer discounts or promo codes?
Occasionally, yes. Enter your code in the promo box on the Stripe checkout page and the discount applies before you pay.
Can I get a refund?
Credits never expire, so we generally don't refund. If something's wrong, contact us and we'll work it out.
